Ok so there are alot of teams out there in the wide world of college football, but some have the stupidest names ever. So who really has the worst? Well first off there Virgina Tech Hokies, oh and the Alabama Crimson Tide and then there mascot is the Elephant what? Syracuse Orange men, The North Carolinia Tar Heels. Iowa State Cyclones then there mascot is a bird what? Stanford Cardinal not even the Cardinals the Cardinal. I mean come on the list goes on and on. So who do you think is the worst?
Iowa State Cyclone here...FYI, our mascot is a bird because our school colors are CARDINAL and gold. We are the Cyclones because the headline after beating a good Northwestern team in Chicago, the Tribune headline was, "Iowa Cyclone Devastates Evanston." I know it's confusing, but it's not just random.

i think it up to the school on how the school name and their mascot. I mean some the professionals teams have lame mascot with their name like the braves mascot is rally that is a red fuzzy monster with blue hair.
